The concrete seems to have a dense or solid surface. In fact, examined under a microscope, it is very porous. The 10 Minute Concrete Mender is a measure of very low viscosity about 10 centipoise (cps.). For comparison, ethylene glycol has a viscosity of 16.0 cps and cures for non-epoxy repairs typical concrete crack about 2000 cps.
The low extent of 10 cps viscosity of 10 Minute Concrete Mender allows the product to penetrate into the pores of the surrounding concrete by capillary forces, achieving a significant penetration in only a few minutes after application.

Once the cleaning is complete, superior bond is formed and the repair becomes an integral part of the surrounding concrete.
When the 10 Minute Concrete Mender is mixed with sand known (as well as traditional repairs of cracks) has a lower shrinkage factor of ICRI guidelines of 0.05% which means it does not produce shearing forces that cause secondment to the materials shall repair.
